We hope to open May 3rd or 4th if the weather warms up. The berries are turning but just not enough to let the public begin picking.cabbage, lettuce, collards, Swiss chard should be ready within the next three weeks.Hope to see you soon.

The strawberry crop is in the same anticipation of warmer weather as we all are!  We all know it is time but the weather just does not seem to co-operate. We have had to frost protect 4 different nights last week and we are holding our breath about this next week.
Due to the colder temperatures the season will be delayed to the end of April or maybe even the first week of May.
We have planted cabbage, collards, lettuce, broccoli, swiss chard, kale, sugar snap peas and some sweet corn.
We have tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, okra, watermelon, cantaloupe, peppers,spaghetti squash, celery, in the greenhouse waiting to be transplanted.
We have a new produce storage building completed thanks to James, Robbie, Wolfie, Tim, Oscar and Trevor.
We have a new shipment of Strawberry Jelly made from our strawberries, and we have new t-shirts to sell.

WE ARE NOW CLOSED FOR THE SEASON.  WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU ALL FOR THE GREAT TURNOUT THIS YEAR BOTH FOR STRAWBERRY SEASON AND FOR PRODUCE SEASON. WE STAYED OPEN FOR THE LONGEST STRAWBERRY SEASON IN YEARS!!  WE ARE WORKING VERY HARD TO IMPROVE OUR BUILDING TO MAKE ROOM  FOR MORE PRODUCE NEXT SEASON, WE WILL BE COVERING STRAWBERRIES IN ABOUT 3 WEEKS. Thanks for the great turn out for our MothersDay weekend Special!  It was a huge success.
This week does not promise to be a good weather week again, so I am afraid we will only have pre-picked berries available Monday and probably Tuesday, please be sure to call before you come to see your options.
We do have fresh lettuce, cabbage, swiss chard and collards coming in at this time, and we think squash will be ready in about a week!

We have added a new building this winter thanks to James, Robbie and Trevor. It is a beautiful GAZEBO down by the lake near the picinic shelter, it of course has a nice red roof!
