Just wanted to say Hello!!! and let you know what was going on at BERNIE'S BERRIES these days. We have the strawberries covered up right now ,to keep them from being damaged by the cold weather and deer. Near the end of Feb. or the first of March we will uncover and begin to get any dead leaves off and start with overhead frost protection.
We have added a new building this winter thanks to James, Robbie and Trevor. It is a beautiful GAZEBO down by the lake near the picinic shelter, it of course has a nice red roof!
We have already started cabbage, peppers, and broccoli in the greenhouse. In about two weeks we will also have lettuce, collards, celery, started also. The process continues with cukes, squash, okra, tomatoes etc.
Before you can believe it, strawberries will be ready!! Hopefully around the 15TH to the 18 thof April. Don't forget we offer educational tours to school groups and small children for $5.00 per child.

& you can spend your day pickin’ away;
“we-pick”
just tell us how many berries you want,
then cop a squat, and for a slight labor charge,
we’ll pick’em for you
“pre-pick”
just call us an hour before you want to pick up your berries
and we’ll have your special order ready to go when you pull up!
